What is micellar water?
Micellar water is water that has a mild detergent added. The detergent forms molecules in the water called micelles.
What is it good for?
Micellar water is used to remove make-up from the face. It is also used as a cleaner.
What is the benefit of micellar water?
It helps remove make-up without rubbing or pulling the skin. It soaks up oil, dirt and draws out impurities from the skin. You do not have to rinse the skin afterwards, all you have to do is wipe the face.Micellar water does not have a drying effect on the skin.
How is micellar water used?
Wet a cotton wool pad or a cotton wool ball with some micellar water. Wipe your face with the cotton wool pad or ball. Wipe with a clean cloth or face towel.
Where does micellar water originate from?
Micellar water was first made by a French lady in approximately 1913 for her own usage. The formula was then manufactured and retailed to the public by a French company over 80 years later.
