The practice of soaking almonds is as follows:
- In a bowl pour some lukewarm fresh water.
- Add a handful of almonds.
- Cover the bowl.
- Leave overnight.
- Drain the water from the bowl in the morning.
- Peel the skin of the almonds and consume as you wish.
You can store these soaked almonds in a plastic container for about a week. You can also store the soaked almonds submerged in water in the fridge for about 7 days. You may need to change the water every morning.
