I am looking for some advice. The split from my husband is mutually agreed. We have received the conditional order. We submitted form D81 and Form A along with a signed, witnessed joint agreement regarding our financial arrangements.
The court have returned the papers saying that ‘the parties have submitted a written agreement, not a consent order. The court cannot make an agreement. The parties need to file a consent order. The parties can instruct a lawyer to draft an order’.
i thought that we were entitled to self represent.
