Wanting to find out more about these substances can be pretty difficult. Most of the write-ups that tell us about them can be boring. 1) Neem oil is produced from the seed of the Indian lilac tree, also known as the neem tree.

2) It has a strong odour.

3) Neem oil should be stored in a cool dry place and in a dark amber coloured bottle.

4) Neem oil is rich in vitamin E, calcium, fatty acids, and antioxidants.

5) Neem oil has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

6) Neem oil is used to treat dry skin.

7) It is also used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

8) Neem oil encourages collagen and elastin production in the skin keeping the skin young, plump, and elastic.

9) Neem oil helps to reduce scars and hyperpigmentation.

10) It also helps heal acne spots and fungal infections.

11) Neem oil helps heal wounds.

12) When neem oil is to be used for larger areas then it is best to dilute it with a carrier oil such as coconut, jojoba, or grapeseed oil. The carrier oil will help mask the smell of the neem oil.
