2. It’s a pale-yellow vegetable oil that comes from the seeds of the ricinus communis plant.

3. Castor oil is not easily absorbed by the skin. Therefore, it’s better to mix it with olive oil in equal amounts before applying it to the skin. 

4. It’s most often used as a laxative to help with constipation. Castor oil can be added to milk or warm water, or consumed as a supplement. 

5. Castor oil can be given to patients before an operation to empty out their intestines.

6. It has also been used to induce labour in pregnant women.

7. It’s also effective in treating digestive issues.

8. Castor oil has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it an effective treatment for conditions such as irritated skin, acne, pimples, and psoriasis.
