Lighting one or more candles has been used for centuries all over the world as a form of healing. It is a widely used technique that is highly respected and used.

What is candle therapy?

Candle therapy involves focusing on a lit candle for a few minutes and then leaving the candle to continue to burn in the room. You can breathe deeply, meditate or pray after gazing at the candle flame. 

This is known to encourage and bring healing, peace, and light into your life. The candle flame can calm the human mind and have a relaxing effect on the body.

Candle therapy can have the following effects on you:

Who should not Have candle therapy?

People who suffer with the following conditions should not have candle therapy:

  1. Anyone who suffers from seizures.
  2. Anyone with an eye disorder.
  3. Anyone with a mental health condition such as psychosis

You should also not have candle therapy after a heavy drinking session or if you have taken drugs.
