Apple Cider Vinegar and Its Amazing Benefits

PLEASE NOTE – Cider vinegar is an acid and should never be used full strength on skin. At all times cider vinegar must be diluted.

Cider vinegar, also known as apple cider vinegar, has long been known for its healing and medicinal properties. Also referred to as nature’s secret weapon, it is made from fermented apple juice.

There are two types of cider vinegar available on the market:

Filtered cider vinegar This cider vinegar does not have any bits in it and is a smooth liquid

Unfiltered cider vinegar with the mother This cider vinegar contains bits called the mother which is a by-product of yeast and bacteria. To make cider vinegar yeast is added to apple juice to break down sugars.

How to ingest cider vinegar:

  • As an ingredient of recipes.
  • As an ingredient in salad dressing
  • As a drink – a tablespoon of cider vinegar in a mug of warm/hot water with a spoon of honey to taste.

What are the health benefits of drinking A Mixture of cider vinegar, water, and honey:

Place a tablespoon of apple cyder vinegar and a tablespoon of honey into a cup. Pour hot water and mix. Drink this mixture once a day and you may feel the following benefits.

4) Helps ease nausea

5) Helps stomach upset

6) Helps relieve coughs and tickly throats

7) Helps with a sore throat

What are the benefits of using diluted cider vinegar:

1) Helps with dandruff Mix half a cup of cider vinegar and two cups of warm water. Once you have shampooed and rinsed your hair, pour the cider vinegar mixture through your hair. Do not rinse your hair after. If you want to use a conditioner please do so.
2) Helps with cold sores Mix 1 part cider vinegar with 10 parts warm water. Then soak a small ball of cotton wool, squeeze and dab onto your cold sore twice a day.
3) Helps with spots and blemishes Mix 1 part cider vinegar with 2 parts warm water. Then soak a small ball of cotton wool, squeeze and dab onto your spots twice a day.
