Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera has a soothing effect on the skin. It is also good at reducing inflammation in the skin and rejuvenating scar tissue. There are many brands of aloe vera gel available on the market. Some have other ingredients that are good for the skin added such as tea tree or vitamin E.
Hazelnut Oil
When applied to the skin, hazelnut oil encourages cell regeneration. It also nourishes, hydrates the skin, acts as an astringent, reduces redness, and strengthens capillaries. Hazelnut oil should be applied directly to damaged or scarred skin.
Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil when applied to the skin stimulates collagen production. It can also improve skin texture and strength. Vitamin E oil can be applied directly onto scars and stretch marks. However, it must not be applied to broken skin or wounds.
Baking Soda
Slowly add some water to 2 tablespoons of baking soda until a paste is formed. Wet the scar with a little water then apply the paste onto the scar. Place a hot towel on top of the paste and scar and hold it in place for 20 minutes. Now remove the towel and gently rinse the scar with warm water. Do this every day.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil reverses free radical damage on the skin because it contains fatty acids that act like antioxidants. Coconut oil can be applied directly over scarred or damaged skin.
Sea Salt
Sea salt can be added to a warm/hot bath. Soak your body in the bath for half an hour. Do this twice a week. Sea salt will absorb the toxins present in your skin and act as an antiseptic healing your skin. Once you come out of the bath gently pat your skin with a soft towel. Please do not soak your body in a sea salt bath if you have open wounds.
Carrot Juice & Sea Salt
Carrot juice is excellent for cleansing and healing the skin because it contains vitamin C and many different minerals. When sea salt is added to a small amount of carrot juice, the paste can be applied directly onto scars and massaged in a circular motion. The paste should be left to dry and then the skin washed with warm water.
